Revival by Selena Gomez Review

I think most people consider this Selena’s first solo album even though it is her second. It’s just much better than Stars Dance. It’s pretty good and I’m happy for her. Let’s get into it.

Revival: I think the production on this song is really good. Her vocals are pretty good too. I think it’s an underrated tune.

Kill Em With Kindness: I like the whistling and the verses. The message is a little silly to me. I don’t love songs like this. It’s not horrible, though.

Hands to Myself: This song is so fabulous. The way it builds. It’s so good.

Same Old Love: This song got old. It’s a little too repetitive for me. I like the verses, though. It needed a better bridge and a shorter chorus.

Sober: I don’t really like her vocals on this track. It really sounds like she’s trying too hard. It’s strained.

Good For You: This came out so long ago I forgot about it. It’s good. She sounds good. Life was better when this was on the radio.

Camouflage: She sounds very pretty here. And the piano is so nice. This is a gorgeous and tragic song.

Me & the Rhythm: This song deserved better. It was in a commercial for two seconds. It’s so good. It always puts me in a good mood.

Survivors: Didn’t always love this song, but I appreciate it now. It’s an easy listen.

Body Heat: This song feels unnecessary. It’s not really what I’m ever wanting to listen to. It’s not horrible. Me & My Girls is similar sounding and it’s a better song.

Rise: I love the length of this song. I think that’s the best part. It’s really the best part. And I love the music. \

Me & My Girls: This song is so much fun. Guilty pleasure for sure. I think it’s so fabulous.

Nobody: This is a pretty song. I’m not always here for it simply because it is a little slow, but it’s a pretty song.

Perfect: This song is perfect. It’s so sad. It is devastating. Her vocals are phenomenal. Might just be her best song period.

I think she really popped off with this album. When it first came out I didn’t like it but I think I might have been cracked. This gets a 7.75/10. bye
