Rare by Selena Gomez Review

I love Selena Gomez for reasons beyond her music, so I really don't care how this album ends up being.

Boyfriend: It’s a fun song but the rhymes are so bad. I don’t hate it but it’s not my favorite song.

Lose You To Love Me: The lyrics in this song are super good and revealing, but I’m not loving her voice. I wish there were more verses because the lyrics get boring.

Rare: I hated this song at first, but now it’s one of my favorites off the album. The lyrics are fun. The tempo is cool. It ended up being a good song.

Souvenir: I like this song. It makes me a little sad because it’s about a relationship that I know is over. The lyrics are good and her voice is pretty.

Look At Her Now: I like this song lol. I feel like I shouldn’t, but I do. It’s just kind of good and I vibe with it.

She: Why does she try to sing high? Her low voice is pretty. I wonder who this song is about. Lol it’s about her. I like the chorus in this song. Her voice is bad in the chorus. Please stop trying to sing high.

Crowded Room: I actually like this song. I always skip it lol why’d I do that. I could do without 6LACK’s verse but oh well. Selena saved it.

Vulnerable: I don’t hate this song. It’s a poolside song I think. People need to accept that Selena is not a vocal powerhouse like Ariana or Demi. She has a different thing going for her.

Dance Again: I go hard to this song. The beat is so good. Makes me dance lol. Good song.

Ring: Wow this is my favorite song off the album. Her voice is so good in this song. It’s sexy, it’s fun. Love it. The lyrics are clever. The music is there. Masterpiece.

A Sweeter Place: This song is almost good. The chorus is just kind of lame. The music is cool. I just really don’t care about this song.

People You Know: I really like the chorus of this song. It’s catchy and fun.

Cut You Off: I like this song. It’s cool. I like the lyrics and she’s singing in her lower register.

Let Me Get Me: I don’t really like this song. There’s too much going on and none of it is really that good.

Kinda Crazy: I like this song. I think it’s because the chorus goes hard.

Fun: No. Such a bad chorus. I’m not feeling this song.

Feel Me: The lyrics to this song are strong for sure. Like go off Selena. However, I’m not vibing sonically. It’s nothing special.
