Oh Niall. I was very excited to get into this album because I love him.
Heartbreak Weather: Ok track one. I really liked this one actually. Niall makes me a little nervous because he’s very much in the singer-songwriter genre, but being from a boy band he is also very much in the pop genre. And it’s not that those genres can’t be intertwined, it’s just that they don’t always fit very well together. I can be bad. And cheesy. Like a lot of Ed Sheeran’s songs. But this song was really good. Lyrics were there. I enjoyed the 80s vibe it brought. That seems to be a popular trend right now.
Black and White: This song was pretty Ed Sheeran if you ask me. But it gets better as you go on. The lyrics are pretty cute, so I ended up putting it on my cute love songs playlist. It’s not going on the main playlist though. It doesn’t have much replay value for me.
Dear Patience: Again, not my favorite song. Again, it gets better as you keep listening. I think it gets much more “pop” sounding towards the bridge of the song, which I liked. I think the lyrics are kind of childish. The whole plot of the song being about him addressing his patience is just boring to me. I can’t form a real connection with this song because of that. Outro music slaps tho.
Bend The Rules: I like this song. It’s sad. Poor Niall now I want to give him a hug. Him talking about how she doesn’t break the rules on paper is really smart. And he’s like “it hurts so bad” like oh my god my heart poor Niall.
Small Talk: I was vibing out with the first verse and then he hit me with that chorus. THAT CHORUS. This song is good. Added to my playlist. Go Niall.
Nice To Meet Ya: I know this was released before but I never actually listened to it until now. And it’s such a good song. It’s different. Also added to my playlist. Another winner for me.
Put a Little Love On Me: This is a pretty song. And I really like Niall’s voice in this one. Added this to my love song playlist. Not usually a fan of piano ballads but this is different.
Arms of a Stranger: I thought I was gonna like this one a lot when it started but it was kinda boring. And the flow of the chorus. I have an issue with it. It just seems wrong. Like the track is skipping or something. Just not for me, what can I say?
Everywhere: This song is quick. It’s a good song. Not very memorable but it’s good. I don’t have an issue with it.
Cross Your Mind: This song had me at the intro music. That slapped hard. And the chorus goes hard too. This is another favorite of mine now.
New Angel: I like this song. He’s like “girl I’m thinking about another girl.” Omg Niall stop. The verses are boring. The chorus is hot. I didn’t think I would like this song as much as I do. This is a good song. Go Niall.
No Judgement: This isn’t a bad song by any means. It’s just mediocre compared to other songs on this album. The music in this is good. It’s groovy. It’s an easy listen.
San Francisco: Not for me. It’s boring. Not bad but just not interesting.
Still: This is the Fine Line of Heartbreak Weather. Acoustic, pretty, kinda heartbreaking but also encouraging. Put you down and pick you up all wrapped up into one. This is a good outro.

This wasn’t his best work in my opinion. There are a lot of forgettable tracks. It doesn’t have the same impact as his first album did. I gave it a 5.64/10. I think he can do better. bye
