LP1 by Liam Payne Album Review

Updated: Jan 20, 2021

So, everyone I’ve talked to tells me Liam’s music is bad. I am just not familiar with his music. Besides Strip That Down, which is an amazing song. I feel bad for Liam because honestly what is he doing? Does he even know? I hope he figures himself out. Let’s get into it.

Midnight (feat. Alesso): I wouldn’t mind this song if it was on in the background. It’s not that bad. It’s not my type of song because it reminds me of songs I hate, but I don’t hate this song. I hope that makes sense.

Stack It Up (feat. A Boogie wit da Hoodie): Liam knows how to spell you guys. There’s good and bad parts of this song. The aye aye aye parts are probably the bad parts. This isn’t the worst song. Omg Ed Sheeran wrote this. That’s hilarious.

Remember: I would never listen to this song again. It’s not for me. It’s an interesting thing to sing about. Better than him stacking it up. It’s just very basic. The bridge is kind of nice. He sounds good on it. Also, have not seen Liam in the writing credits of any song yet. Is that accurate? I’m shaking.

Heart Meet Break: Underwhelming. I liked how short it was. It’s just so basic I can’t deal. It sounds like it could be on the radio, but nobody knows the name because it’s not that good.

Hips Don't Lie: His biggest mistake was not making this a Shakira cover. I am also freaking out over this chorus. It’s not good. I can’t. Liam. Sweaty. The hook is a little fun. But the chorus is so bad and boring and so Liam.

Tell Your Friends: He sounds like a Jonas Brother. This is the first song I really despise. I am giggling at this bridge. Liam is so funny. Go Liam.

Say It All: Does Liam bump his own music? Or does he know? This isn’t too bad actually. It’s kind of catchy. This was the first song he had a part in writing so far. That’s insane. It’s honestly not that bad.

Rude Hours: This song has absolutely no flow. And he’s just singing about sex. I don’t want that from Mr. Liam. Who approved this song?

Live Forever (feat. Cheat Codes): Average song. I like some of the lyrics.

Weekend: This is actually an interesting song. I like the lyrics. And he actually had a part in writing them. Go Liam. I think this song is pretty good. It’s a little edgy lol.

Both Ways: Oh boy Liam. This song is problematic, yes. It’s been discussed. Not only is it problematic, but it’s also just bad. What kind of lyrical content is this? Does nothing happen in this kid's life? His songs are so boring. And he also wrote this song. Liam sweetie.

Strip That Down (feat. Quavo): This is an amazing song. I sing it a lot. I am laughing so hard.

For You (feat. Rita Ora): I feel like this song was trying to be I Don’t Wanna Live Forever and it wasn’t. It’s not that iconic. But it’s not too bad. Miss Rita really did her thing. I like this song, but because of her mainly.

Familiar (feat. J Balvin): The music in this song is good. The chorus is bad but very catchy. It’s a fun song. The verses are weak, though. Also there’s some Spanish. I decided I like this song. The chorus got to me.

Polaroid (feat. Jonas Blue & Lennon Stella): This isn’t a song for me. I have an issue with Jonas Blue. Can’t get into it. This song is boring and basic. Polaroids are very 2014. 1989 already happened.

Get Low (feat. Zedd): I think I’ve heard this song before. It’s not very good. He’s really singing about the same things. This song is very forgettable. Zedd also gives me bad vibes, but not as bad as Jonas Blue.

Bedroom Floor: I refuse to believe this song is real. This gives me 5SOS vibes, but I know my boys would've done this concept justice. CHARLIE PUTH WROTE IT. He haunts my house.

All I Want (For Christmas): I can’t believe he has a Christmas song. I am a serious advocate for a Niall x Yung Gravy Christmas collab, just so you know. This song is kind of sad. It’s just piano. It’s not that bad actually. This is a ballad. A Christmas ballad. It feels very out of place.

If this album is a representation of Liam’s life during these feew years while it was being made all he was doing was having sex. Just a lot of sex. And maybe he was. Good for him. Wish his album wasn’t 18 songs long, though. Also he barely wrote any of these songs. How can you get away with that? He’s 26 years old or something. Write your songs sir. This album gets a 4.28/10. bye
