This album was very important to me when it came out and it still is. Let’s get into it.
...Ready For It?: This doesn’t feel like a Taylor song to me. It’s still really good, though. She raps. And sings. Very good.
End Game (feat. Future & Ed Sheeran): I absolutely love the “big reputation” part of the song. I don’t even mind Ed and Future’s parts. I’m just not the biggest fan of the chorus. It’s a little too slow and drawn out for me. I never wanna listen to the whole thing.
I Did Something Bad: This song goes crazy. It’s so important. She really sounds like a baddie here. The chorus is so good.
Don't Blame Me: This is my favorite song of the album. I love the choir moment she went for. It’s so good.
Delicate: This song grew on me. The vocal effects got to me at first but I think they really make the song good. The lyrics are very nice too. Don’t talk to me about the music video.
Look What You Made Me Do: Don’t ever try to tell me this isn’t a good song. This song is amazing. It was a game changer. The world forever changed when this came out. The music video? Iconic.
So It Goes...: Underrated for sure. She didn’t even sing it at her concert. It just played as we all left. The outro of this song is amazing and should have its own Wikipedia page.
Gorgeous: I love this song because it’s simple, but the lyrics are so relatable. Not the most poetic song she’s ever written, but it’s really not necessary here. One of my favorites for sure.
Getaway Car: She had no right making a song this good. It just gets better and better as the song goes on. It paints such a vivid picture in my mind. I’ve directed like seven music videos to this song in my head. The bridge is fabulous and I lose my mind to the outro.
King of My Heart: Another song that I feel is underrated. The production is really good and I love to sing along to the bridge.
Dancing With Our Hands Tied: She sang this one acoustic in concert. Very nice. This song is very good and kind of sad when you really listen.
Dress: Some days this song won’t leave my head. The bridge really gets stuck in there. Sometimes I’m not always in the mood for this song. I think it’s her vocals.
This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things: This song is very fun. I really love when she says “And here’s to my baby.” Her voice in this song is just insane. She sounds like she’s having such a good time.
Call It What You Want: Very sweet song. It’s a good one. Makes me happy.
New Year's Day: What a closer. This song is very important. The piano is so beautiful and the lyrics are emotional. I really like it.
