Her second album.
Intro: This is a really pretty intro. I like it a lot. I forgot I liked it, but I do.
Problem: This song is so much fun. Her vocals are amazing in this song, and this song lowkey put her in the place of being a pop princess. I’m such a sucker for Iggy’s verse, too. This song faded over time, but I think it’s one of her strongest singles.
One Last Time: This song is so cool because she’s being super honest with her lyrics. She didn’t write them, but oh well. She’s admitting she was wrong, that she lied, etc. I think that’s pretty mature for a sophomore pop album. Plus this song is beautiful.
Why Try: This song is so underrated. Even by Miss Grande herself, who called it boring. This song is not boring! This song is so good. She sounds so good on it, and the lyrics are really interesting. Go off.
Break Free: I love this song so much. The lyrics don’t make any sense, but it’s fine. The vocals are there, the production is there, and it’s so goddamn catchy.
Best Mistake: This song is different. She stays in her low voice for a lot of the song. I like Sean’s verse. I think he has a really nice voice. I think this song is kind of slept on, but it’s a goodie.
Be My Baby: This song has pretty basic lyrics, but I love it so much. Her voice is so pretty in this song. I don’t really know what Cashmere Cat contributed to this song, but good job to them because I like it.
Break Your Heart Right Back: This song is funny. Her boyfriend cheated on her with a boy. That’s a fun concept. It’s not the best song, but the chorus is pretty strong. And Childish Gambino is a king.
Love Me Harder: This is such a good collab. I love the whole vibe to this song. Her and Abel sound really good together, almost as good as he and Lana do.
Just a Little Bit of Your Heart: This song is so sad and so beautiful. Plus Harry Styles wrote it, which is so cool. He was still in 1D at the time.
Hands On Me: How did this song even happen? It’s so random and weird. A$AP Ferg’s parts are the worst. It’s almost embarrassing for him.
My Everything: This is another sad song where she’s admitting her fault. I really love this side of her. It’s not just “boohoo I’m so sad.” It’s mature.
Bang Bang: I never really liked this song. It’s fine. I just don’t like Jessie J’s voice. I wish it was just Ariana and Nicki.
Only 1: This is my favorite song off the album. It’s so fun, so catchy. 90s vibes for sure. It has to be sampling something, but I don’t know what. The length of this song is perfect too. I can’t believe it’s only a deluxe track.
You Don't Know Me: This song grew on me, but it’s still not my favorite. It’s very harsh and jarring. The melody isn’t what you’d expect, and overall there’s just a lot going on.
