thank u, next by Ariana Grande Review

I don't really know what to say here. We all know this.

imagine: My claim to fame is I once hit the whistle note inside of Target. I could never do it again, but Tindy is my witness. Anyways, this is a good song. I like the story. I think it’s a little boring, and although I love the whistle notes, I think that’s my least favorite part of the song. The ending just isn’t that strong.

needy: I never got into this song like everyone. I don’t like the chorus that much. The lyrics are good, though. I get why people liked this song. It’s pretty relatable.

NASA: This song goes off. I love this song so much. The chorus is that bitch. I just want to shout it. And the ending is actually so beautiful.

bloodline: The music in this song is super cool. That marching band trap music sound is really fun. It’s not my most favorite song because I think the chorus is pretty average. Don’t get me wrong, I can go hard to this song in the car and with my friends, it’s just not my go to song.

fake smile: The sample in the beginning is what made me love this song. I really need to find the original song because I love it so much. I wish she sang this song live. This is a really good song, though, and she gets pretty deep.

bad idea: How can you not love this song. It’s so cool. The guitar kills me. Her vocals are probably the best on this whole album. And that random violin in the middle?? What was that about?? It was beautiful. And it comes back at the end, but quickly turns into this trap music type sound. I love this song.

make up: Criminally underrated. It’s super quick, but super fun. The lyrics are just fun and silly. It reminds me of summertime.

ghostin: Sad song!!. This song is really depressing. She’s singing about Mac, but also singing about how Pete must have felt during this time. Which is even more devastating. Especially with lyrics like “Though I wish he were here instead, don’t want that living in your head.” That is so sad.

in my head: I like this song. It goes after Pete. I think it’s really interesting. It’s not my favorite because of the chorus.

7 rings: This song is just not that good. Super catchy and fun, but it’s so basic. Nothing interesting going on.

thank u, next: Of course I love this song. Her song is so soft for this whole song. I can’t describe it, but it sounds so different from her other stuff. I love the first lines the most. She name drops, but she’s nice about it. This song is so iconic.

break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored: No. This song isn’t that good. Her voice isn’t even pretty in it. The chorus is pretty annoying and the lyrics are lame. Especially because the story is completely made up. She’s not even a real homewrecker.
