Honeymoon by Lana Del Rey Review

Updated: Jun 1, 2022

I would call this her weirdest album. I like it though.

Honeymoon: Something about this song is so unsettling. It’s also very pretty, but it does feel somewhat tragic. I’m not always in the mood for it, but I do appreciate it.

Music To Watch Boys To: This is a fabulous song. It sounds so cool. I’m cool.

Terrence Loves You: This song is so sad. I love it. It’s just really beautiful and the lyrics really hurt you. And the jazz elements are everything.

God Knows I Tried: This song sounds dangerous. And very tragic. It’s a little slow and not always what I want.

High By the Beach: I love this song. I think the lyrics are so funny sometimes. I’m always in the mood for it.

Freak: What I’m here for is the chorus. It’s fabulous. The verses are okay.

Art Deco: I love this one. She sounds so pretty.

Burnt Norton (Interlude): This is just her reading an excerpt from something. It fits in nice with the record. The background music is peaceful. I don’t have a problem with this.

Religion: For some reason this is the song that’s always stuck in my head. The chorus is pretty catchy.

Salvatore: I don’t know if there’s anything more Lana than this song. It’s so beautiful. And it really just takes you to another place. I feel like an entirely different person when I hear this song.

The Blackest Day: This song is very depressing and it’s really good. The production is fabulous. It’s pretty long, but it’s worth it.

24: This song isn’t always for me. When I’m listening to the album all the way through it’s totally fine, but I would never single this song out and listen to it.

Swan Song: This song is so dramatic.

Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood: This is a cover. I really like how it sounds. I think it fits in so well with the album. It’s also very unsettling.

This song is best fit for laying out by the pool on the hottest day of summer. You need to listen to it all the way through to enjoy it. It’s not a shuffle album. I give it a 7.43/10. bye
