Merry Christmas. I love Taylor Swift
Last Christmas: This is such a good song for her to cover. She sounds good on it too. She doesn’t stray too far from the original, but still manages to make it her own.
Christmases When You Were Mine: This song is a bummer. It’s good, though. Could be catchier I think.
Santa Baby: She sounds good on this song. However. I have an issue. This is just not a song 2007 Taylor should be singing. I’m uncomfortable. It just doesn’t seem right. I’m docking points for that.
Silent Night: This isn’t my favorite Christmas song. And I don’t think it should be country.
Christmas Must Be Something More: Fun fact: this is her least streamed song on Spotify. It’s weird because it doesn’t feel like it should be her song. It’s corny. Not for me.
White Christmas: This was pretty good. Nothing wrong with it. I had a good time.
Final Ranking:
Last Christmas
White Christmas
Christmases When You Were Mine
Santa Baby
Christmas Must Be Something More
Silent Night
Not too shabby. But not iconic. Taylor does not own Christmas the way she owns fall. That’s okay. I’m giving it a 6.42/10. I don’t mind her. bye
