I love 5 Seconds of Summer. That is so funny.
Money: Some people have an issue with this song. I think it’s so cute. Like people really dog on this song. I think it’s really fun and also I think it’s good. Isn’t that cool?
She’s Kinda Hot: This song is so special. Like so so special. They really did something here. It’s super important and I think it should be played before every live sporting event.
Hey Everybody!: This is sampling that one famous song that I can’t remember. This song is fun.
Permanent Vacation: I feel like this song is very cliche but I’m not even mad at it. Like low hanging fruit. Do you know what I mean? But someone had to do it. And it works.
Jet Black Heart: This is another really important song. It’s one you kinda scream along to. Very emo.
Catch Fire: This song is a little bit too inspirational. Like hero’s journey esque. It still doesn’t sound that bad, but I don’t think I can get behind the lyrics.
Safety Pin: The chorus is undeniably catchy. I don’t even fuck with this song that much until I listen to it. And I’m like OH.
Waste the Night: I love this song so much. It’s insanely good. Yup.
Vapor: Vocals on this track are something else. I love it. Very emotional again. Had a moment with this song freshman year lol.
Castaway: Very catchy and I love the lyrics.
The Girl Who Cried Wolf: I like how they ask her to look them in the eye. I don’t know why but that’s what I’m really drawn to. This isn’t my most favorite song, but I actually don’t think it’s that bad. I may have been a little too harsh in the past. It’s more of a ballad and I can appreciate that.
Broken Home: Kinda sad song, but I get it. A little corny too I have to admit. I don’t hate it. It’s just a little silly to me. But also not.
Fly Away: This song is kinda forgettable but it’s fun enough. I probably wouldn’t skip it but I would never choose it.
Invisible: This one is pretty. I forget about it a lot. It’s kinda sad too. Why do they do that? I like how it’s stripped back and simple. Nice change of pace on the album.
Airplanes: I have a big problem with this song. It’s corny. I would never listen to this.
San Francisco: If I listened to this song more I would probably like it more. And that’s on me. I understand that. It’s a little too inspirational again, but I think the chorus is pretty solid.
Outer Space / Carry On: I can’t even hide how upset I am at the length of this song. People eat this song up. But I’m different. I just don’t really get into it. I honestly feel bad. It’s not even that bad. It’s just sounds like the end of a movie and I’m not into that.
The Space Between a Rock and a Hard Place: This is my favorite song ever by them. Like number 1. It’s so important.
Story of Another Us: This song too!! So good!! Why is it not on the standard edition. Lyrics are fabulous and it’s super catchy. Everyone agrees. Thank you.
