Rainbow by Mariah Carey Review

I’m excited for this because I love Mariah.

Heartbreaker (feat. Jay-Z): Jay-Z’s verse slayed. This song is pretty fun. I wish it was more exciting, but it’s okay. I’ll get over it.

Can’t Take That Away (Mariah’s Theme): This sounds like it’s from a movie. And that’s not great. But she sounds so good that it really doesn’t even matter.

Bliss: The whistle notes go crazy on this song. Like she did not hold back. No one does it like Mariah.

How Much (feat. Usher): There’s a lot going on. It’s not that bad. I’m just overwhelmed. Usher is not bringing it. Bummer.

After Tonight: The chorus is just so good. She is singing her heart out. This song is so dramatic and totally Mariah. Love.

X-Girlfriend: This isn’t a very good song.

Heartbreaker (feat. Missy Elliott & Da Brat) (Remix): His remix is better than the Jay-Z version. No offense to him. This just goes hard.

Vulnerability (Interlude): This was beautiful and angelic.

Against All Odds (Take a Look At Me Now): This is a Phil Collins song and I hate him. She sounds so good singing it, though. Like the ending goes crazy.

Crybaby (feat. Snoop Dogg): Great lyrics. She’s telling a story. She is a poet. And Snoop is doing wonderful. And her vocals are just wild. I get excited every time.

Did I Do That?: This song was weird but I didn’t hate it. It was just weird.

Petals: This song was sad and pretty. Very peaceful. I liked the sound of rain.

Rainbow (Interlude): This was pretty lame ngl.

Thank God I Found You (feat. Joe & 98 degrees): This song was just so 90s it hurt. Wasn’t really for me.
