Every Lana Del Rey Song Ranked From Worst to Best

Updated: Jul 14, 2020

I love Miss Lana so I decided to rank all her songs. I could not include all of her unreleased music because that's like 400 extra songs. I have a few unreleased included, so you'll have to deal.

103. Guns and Roses- This is such a bad and boring song. Cannot believe it was on Ultraviolence.

102. I Can Fly- I don't feel anything about this song. It's not even on Apple Music so I will never listen to it.

101 Love- This is controversial I think. A lot of people love this song. I do not. I think it's boring.

100. Don't Call Me Angel- Lana's part on this song is weird. It doesn't fit. Shouldn't have happened.

99. Burnt Norton Interlude- She's just reading a poem or something. The background music is nice.

98. The Next Best American Record- The beginning of this song is promising, but the chorus is so lame. And way too long. I always skip.

97. 24- She sounds good on this track, but I think the song is very forgettable. Not the most creative topic.

96. Burning Desire- This song is so boring. I really like the intro music and it makes me so sad that the rest of the song is so poopy.

95. God Bless America- And All the Beautiful Women In It- I love the gun shot noises. That's about it.

94. God Save Our Young Blood- I get weird vibes from Børns. He makes me nervous. This song is pretty average.

93. Big Eyes- Better than I Can Fly, but still pretty forgettable.

92. Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood- This is a cover. It's a vibe. You have to be in the right mood and I usually am not.

91 Lucky Ones- This song underwhelms me. There are some good parts, though. It's a great love song.

90. Blue Velvet- Another cover. The music in it is so beautiful.

89. Cherry- Some describe this as her sexiest song. It's fine. I don't usually listen to it, but it's not bad.

88. Swan Song- I like how dramatic this song is.

87. This Is What Makes Us Girls- Great storytelling. The vocals just aren't here.

86. Prisoner- This is a good duet with The Weeknd. Slept on I may add.

85. Change- This song is a little long, so I don't usually listen to it. The intro is also very drawn out. However, when you stick around it is a very beautiful song.

84. National Anthem- I don't think this is that great of a song. There's some iconic moments, but the chorus is very lame. The music video, though. Absolutely legendary.

83. Freak- This is a fun song. Kind of slow, but also you wanna dance. Confusing.

82. Sad Girl- I like the lyrics and her voice, but I don't love the music on this track.

81 Dark Paradise- I think this is a good song. I can only listen to it every once in a while, though, because it gets very repetitive.

80. Lust for Life- Another collab with The Weeknd. There's nothing wrong with it.

79. Money Power Glory- I used to not like this song, but it grew on me. She sounds like a baddie.

78. Diet Mountain Dew- This is just a fun song. Nothing much else to it than that.

77. When the World Was at War We Kept Dancing- The lyrics are good. The song itself is a little forgettable.

76. God Knows I Tried- I like to tan to this song. Actually, I tan to this whole album, but this is a good part of it.

75. Once Upon a Dream- She made this song sound so creepy.

74. Religion- I like the chorus of this song. It's pretty.

73. Flipside- This is unreleased. Maybe only released in Japan. Gotta find it on YouTube. It's pretty good. The guitar is the best part.

72. Jimmy Gnecco- Also unreleased. This one is pretty old.

71 Heroin- Another long song. The beginning might make you want ot give up, but please don't. The chorus is so good.

70. Bartender- I love almost every part of this song. I just hate the weird noise she makes in the song. And the "ha ha ha ha" part.

69. Without You- I never want to hear this song, but when it comes on I like it.

68. Summertime Sadness Remix- This is what made Lana iconic.

67. 13 Beaches- I don't like the verses, but that chorus is iconic.

66. Honeymoon- This song is kind of scary, but also very aesthetic.

65. Young and Beautiful- Classic. Beautiful.

64. Chelsea Hotel No 2- This is a cover. You can find it on Lana's Vevo page. It's really pretty. Very simple, too.

61 Love song- A rare happy love song by Miss Lana. It's really beautiful.

60. Fucked My Way Up To the Top- This could possibly be a dig at Miss Gaga, but it's definitely a dig at her critics. It's very sarcastic.

58. Season of the Witch- She sounds so good on this. This was a perfect song for her to cover.

57. The Blackest Day- I love this song. Very dramatic. Very pretty.

56. Body Electric- I couldn't tell you what this song is actually about. But her voice is absolutely insane. And the outro is the best part.

55. Carmen- This is a sing along song. A sing along song about a prostitute.

54. Beautiful People Beautiful Problems- This song transports you to another world. Just close your eyes man. The first time I listened to this song I was on a plane and man, what an experience. Stevie Nicks is on it.

53. Million Dollar Man- This song sounds like it's from the past. If that makes sense. So beautiful.

52. Florida Kilos- This is a really fun song about snorting cocaine in Florida. It's a good time.

51 Bel Air- This is the song that plays when you enter heaven or wherever you'll go. It's angelic.

48. Norman fucking Rockwell- The piano and strings in this song are everything. Also her vocals at the end. Angelic.

47. California- I like how many words are in this song. Like it isn't too repetitive and the chorus is long, so there's a lot to sing along to.

46. Woman- I never knew this song, but Lana is featured on it. It's actually pretty good. I was boppin my head along.

45. You Can Be the Boss- Unreleased. This song is kind of fun, but it's not her best unreleased song.

43. Shades of Cool- She sounds so good here. Especially on the bridge. She goes absolutely insane on it.

42. Art Deco- This is just a vibey song. I like it a lot.

41 Born to Die- Wouldn't love this song as much as I do if it weren't for the time it was playing on the rainy Chicago boardwalk at night while the ferris wheel lit up purple.

40. In My Feelings- I think this is about G Eazy. I don't like that guy. But this is a great song. She's a baddie.

39. Kinda Outta Luck- This is another unreleased song. It's pretty iconic. Singing about how she kills people. It's great.

38. Lolita- Risky title, but this is such a hot summer day type of song. I scream the bridge of this song.

37. Black Beauty- This is sad. Her voice is pretty. She singing about how her lover cannot ever see the happy side of things.

36. The Other Woman- This is a cover, but it fits into the album so well. It was like it was written for it or something. And she kills it.

35. Smarty- Unreleased. I discovered this kinda late. It's really fun.

34. Summer Bummer- A$AP Rocky's part is fantastic. It's a good vibe. Kinda scary to play at night.

33. Music To Watch Boys To- The chorus of this song is unbelievable. It's like you're drifting away down a bayou.

32. Venice Bitch- Very long song. Almost 10 minutes. I don't ever skip it, though. That means it's good. It's so simple, but perfect. Makes me happy.

31 Video Games- This is such a classic song. It's great. Everyone loves it.

30. Salvatore- Sometimes I cannot believe this song is real. It makes you feel like you're in Italy. You're beautiful. Your skin is warmed by the sun. Soft ice cream. And her vocals. Oh my god.

29. High by the Beach- She doesn't give a fump in this song. It's a very nice relaxing song, but also kind of a baddie song too.

28. Back to the Basics- Unreleased. She sounds very happy and up beat, but the lyrics are a little sad. Makes you nostalgic for something you did not experience.

27. White Mustang- Pretty short song. Simple. I love the whistles at the end.

26. Happiness is a butterfly- This song has so many different parts. And they are all good. And it's pretty sad, but she sounds so chaotic. Great.

25. Cola- This song is beyond iconic. The very first words. You'll have to see them for yourself. Makes you wanna run away.

24. Fuck it I love you- This is such a good song. It really shows how much she has grown as a person and as an artist. She no longer romanticizes all these toxic traits, but still admits to be attracted to them.

23. West Coast- The tempo change in this. It makes the song man.

22. American- Her voice is just really good in this song. And it makes a very vivid image in your head. Makes me very happy.

21 Ultraviolence- This is such a depressing song. Don't get it twisted, she is not romanticizing abuse. She's just talking about it. Such a good song.

20. Gods & Monsters- I love this song. The production is very good. It's such a classic.

19. Pretty When You Cry- The lyrics are very dark and sad. It's just a creepy sounding song in general. And then at the end she goes hard and wow.

18. Terrence Loves You- I think this is about David Bowie or maybe his brother. Something to do with him. It's very jazzy. I like to lay down and just ponder to this.

17. Old Money- There's something a little depressing about this song. Her willingness to drop everything and leave for this guy. But the way she sings it is so hopeful.

16. Yayo- This was one of her old songs before she was even Lana, but she thankfully rerecorded it and released it. It's one of her best. It's about running away with someone and getting married in Vegas. She sounds kind of sad and helpless.

15. Cinnamon Girl- Such a good song. It's a little saucy, but also beautiful and sad and bittersweet.

14. Tomorrow Never Came- Makes me feel like I'm on an island. She duets with Sean Ono Lennon, who sounds pretty much exactly like John Lennon, so it's very weird but very good.

13. Summertime Sadness- This song is so classic. And way better than the radio remix version.

12. Stargirl Interlude- This is on The Weeknd's album. I love this song a lot. It's really good. and very short so you won't be wasting any time.

11 Serial Killer- Unreleased! I wish so bad that this was actually a released song. She sings it a lot at concerts. It's a fan favorite. She sounds really good on it. It's a fun song.

10. hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have- but i have it- Might be her best song lyrically. She gets really personal and descriptive. The song is pretty stripped back, so it focuses on her vocals and her words. It's beautiful.

9. The greatest- This is such a good song. It would be so iconic if she never made music again after releasing this, but also I would be sad because I want new music.

8. Get Free- This song gives major end of the world vibes, but you're okay with it. You are calm. Everything you need you have. Everything is alright.

7. How to disappear- I just love the lyrics so much. It's such a simple song. Just some strings. She sings softly. No powerful notes. She's just singing about nothing that important, however it is so beautiful. I want to say that this song captures my aesthetic.

6. Off to the Races- This song. Crazy. For starters, great lyrics. Great storytelling. It's like you're watching a movie, but it's a song. And her voice does all types of acrobatics.

5. Is This Happiness- This is a reflection song. You just sit on your bed and reflect. Very simple. Just Lana and some piano mostly.

4. Mariners Apartment Complex- There's something very old school about this song. The vibes are very boat. Sailing away. But also, the intro music sounds like a Guns N' Roses type of ballad intro. Good vibes from this song.

3. Ride- If you have never seen the music video to this song, I thin you should give it a watch. It's like a flippin movie. And this song man. You can cry, you can dance, you can sing your heart out as you drive. It's everything.

2. Blue Jeans- The chorus of this song is so classic. And it's so cool. You feel cool listening to it.

1 Brooklyn Baby- This is one of my most favorite songs of all time. It's just something different. The guitar in this song is so good. I wish I had an instrumental. I would play it all the time. And then the lyrics are so good. Singing about Brooklyn. Makes me wanna be there. And her vocals, especially on the chorus, are the best thing I've ever heard.

OKay thanks.
