Being Funny In a Foreign Language by The 1975 Review

I’m looking forward to this, but I’m not getting my hopes up because sometimes they suck.

The 1975: Often this song is about a blowjob so this is a nice change.

Happiness: First time I heard this I wasn’t super into it, but it’s grown on me. It’s really fun and I get it. It could probably be shorter, though.

Looking For Somebody (To Love): This song was really dark but sounded so happy. Very Pumped Up Kicks. Really fun song, though, and I loved the bridge.

Part of the Band: First single. This got me really excited for the album. Mom hated it at first but I told her it would grow on her. It totally did.

Oh Caroline: This is catchy but I don’t know how much I like it yet.

I’m In Love With You: This is about FKA Twigs, which is silly. But I like how honest he is. It’s pretty cute actually.

All I Need To Hear: This song sounds like a cover but it isn’t. It’s really beautiful. I love everything about it. It’s really chill and sad, but still really good energy.

Wintering: Omg a Christmas song! I love it! I love the storytelling. It’s very happy, very personal, even a little silly. Feeling very included in this mess.

Human Too: I liked the music on this track, but the chorus was a little lame. I get what he means but I don’t really care.

About You: This song has a really cool vibe to it. I love how his voice sounds. And it’s sad and pretty. Not too sad, but a little sad. The girl singing in it sounds really good, too.

When We Are Together: This is a folk song and I’m really into it. Really good lyrics. I enjoyed this song a lot.
