Ok. I am pretty familiar with this album. My dad played it all the time when it came out. However, I haven’t ever given it a full listen. I’m a little bit excited. I won’t lie. This is my fifth installment of my Arctic Monkeys album review series.
Do I Wanna Know?: This song is so good. I can’t believe it. It’s just so good.
R U Mine?: Another fabulous song. I really enjoy this one. It’s very loud and I get excited.
One for the Road: This song was pretty good. I don’t know if I like the intro, but the chorus is pretty solid.
Arabella: I used to be pretty indifferent about this song, but after examining the lyrics I’ve decided that it’s fabulous.
I Want It All: Pretty catchy and fun. Not as iconic as the previous songs.
No. 1 Party Anthem: Very good vibes. You could slow dance to this. I’m having a great time with this.
Mad Sounds: This is nice. I’m just relaxing to this. You could also slow dance to this.
Fireside: This song was a little boring. I liked the instrumental actually. The lyrics just weren’t interesting enough for me.
Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?: I love this song so much. I’m just singing it all the time. That’s how it is.
Snap Out of It: I really like this song. I always have. It’s pretty classic.
Knee Socks: The bridge!! Very special to me. Really good imagery in this song as well.
I Wanna Be Yours: This is a good vibe. A little repetitive but it’s nice. Good ending I think.
Final Ranking:
Knee Socks
Arabella
