WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? by Billie Eilish Album Review

Miss Billie. Everyone seems to love this girl, so I decided to give this album another listen. The first time I listened I don’t think I did a good job analyzing it, so I will be doing that. Let’s get into it.

!!!!!!!: How silly.

bad guy: I know this song. It’s pretty good. Not my favorite song ever but it’s pretty catchy. She’s pretty whispery in this song but I’ll have to get over that. I think I like the verses more than the chorus. Especially the second verse, that one goes pretty hard. And the ending is pretty strong too.

xanny: I get what she’s saying. But also I think a lot of 17 year olds are like “I don’t need drugs. I’m above that.” And then Lindsey Lohan happens. No one plans on becoming a junkie. At least not everyone lol. It’s just not that hard of a flex. I think I’d be nicer if I liked how the song sounded but I don’t. It’s too autotuned for me. I know she has a pretty voice, but her head voice in this song isn’t treating me right. It’s also too long for me. I only like long songs if they’re full of good ass lyrics. I don’t get the ending. Sorry.

you should see me in a crown: Game of Thrones vibes. I like the chorus. I’ve decided I like this song. It’s fun. It’s fresh.

all the good girls go to hell: I already know I like this song. Her voice is pretty in this song and the music is good too. Thumbs up.

wish you were gay: I also already know this song. I like the concept. The counting. That’s clever. The storytelling is really good. One of my favorites I think. The bridge is my favorite part.

when the party's over: This song is so pretty how could you not love? And sad? So good.

8: Baby voice what? I don’t like this song.

my strange addiction: Oh wow. I hate this song. Adding The Office speaking parts in it… Is that supposed to make it alternative? Quirky? I get that it’s her favorite show that’s cool. I’m not judging her for that because it’s a quality show. I just don’t vibe. And I don’t like the chorus. Doesn’t make much sense. And it's boring.

bury a friend: This was the first song from this album I heard. It’s scary. Like I get scared. But it’s a good song. Not my favorite because it doesn’t flow that well but still on my playlist.

ilomilo: Favorite off the album. It’s so different and really really pretty. It’s kinda sad too, but it also makes me kinda hopeful.

listen before i go: I would never listen to this song again. I got bored. I’m sure it’s good. Good writing.

i love you: This is so pretty wow. Good song. A+. Kinda a queen of sadness. Not THE queen though.

goodbye: Fun because it’s just all different lyrics from the other songs on her album. Clever but I don’t like it.

Some songs on here I will never listen to again. Some are very good. She has a very pretty voice and she’s a good songwriter, although I definitely think she has room to grow. And that’s ok because she’s very young. I do believe that this album may have been a bit overhyped. Her songs all kind of sound the same and she doesn’t always use her voice in the best way. I gave it a 6.39/10. bye
