Time Skiffs by Animal Collective Review

People have been talking about this album, so I’m listening to it. But I’m not happy about it. I don’t think I’ll have a good time.

Dragon Slayer: This is so hard for me. I don’t hate how it sounds. It sounds cool. But I would never put this on. I don’t like what they’re singing about. It does not hold my interest.

Car Keys: I don’t know if I’m going to survive this song, let alone this album. It’s getting so much hype so I just must not be sophisticated enough for this music. And I can live with that.

Prester John: The music is cool. Reminds me a little bit of the Portlandia theme song. This isn’t a horrible song, but it’s not something I would really listen to. It’s too long and weird.

Strung with Everything: Such a long intro. Like omg. This song was just too much. What even.

Walker: This one sounds like a little adventure.

Cherokee: Like why is this song 7 and a half minutes long? I wouldn’t mind this on in the background, but I’m totally bored with this song. Why is it so long? Oh my god.

Passer - By: I am not liking this song at all. I don’t like the vocals. The lyrics are not hitting. Even the music is wearing me down. This is a hard pass.

We Go Back: I didn’t like this song at all. It was just weird.

Royal and Desire: His voice sounds nice. It’s a little creepy or something. It’s nice though. I don’t know the right word, I guess. This song actually sounds pretty cool. It’s weird, but I can look past that.
