My dad used to play this album constantly. All the time.
Flowers in Your Hair: So pretty. Makes me happy. It’s so short and perfect.
Classy Girls: Really good storytelling. Most of these songs are like this. I love how this song builds. It’s really cute.
Submarines: My mom called this song stupid. That really resonated with me. She’s so funny. Anyway, I like this song. It’s catchy.
Dead Sea: I never realized that this was a nice song. It’s a sweet song. It’s not my favorite. Sonically it just doesn’t work for me.
Ho Hey: I love this song. The Ho Hey part is dumb but I love it. This is the cutest song ever.
Slow It Down: I really had a moment with this song in 7th grade. It really depresses me. But it’s really gorgeous and stuff.
Stubborn Love: Maybe the best song ever. I’ll have to get back to you on that. The lyrics are so tragic and sad. And the violin really rubs it in.
Big Parade: This song is long but it’s interesting. So many lyrics. It’s a whole story. Very visual.
Charlie Boy: The vocals on this track are haunting. Freaks me out. It makes me want to cry. Almost.
Flapper Girl: Bro I love this song. It’s the cutest. It’s perfect.
Morning Song: This is a slow burn. The last part of the song is pretty fabulous. It’s hard for me to get through, though.
Final Ranking:
Stubborn Love
Flapper Girl
Flowers In Your Hair
Ho Hey
Slow It Down
Charlie Boy
Classy Girls
Big Parade

This album is so beautiful. My dad played it way too much at one point but honestly good for him. I gave it an 8.91/10. bye
