I like Samia. Some of their (her?) songs. This is the first full album. I’m interested. Let’s get into it.
Pool: At first I thought this song was cool but that’s it. But the ending was powerful and I was here for it.
Fit N Full: This song is so good. She’s really feeling herself. And it’s really catchy. A+.
Big Wheel: This is another good song! I really like the lyrics. Her voice is also very pretty, so I appreciate that too.
Limbo Bitch: I like this song, but I think the chorus could be better. It just doesn’t hold my attention like the other ones did. Not a bad song, though.
Stellate: This song is pretty but it’s not my pace. It’ll probably grow on me once I get smart enough to understand the lyrics.
Triptych: This song was cool. I don’t fully understand. I need to try harder I think but I liked it.
Does Not Heal: The lyrics are beautiful and so is the guitar and her voice. She also talks about tetanus which I think is a personal attack.
Waverly: I really like the piano in this song. It’s fun. And the chorus is cool. This is a good song.
Winnebago: This is a weird song. It’s kind of cool but I don’t know what to do with it. Interesting lyrics.
Minnesota: I really like the music and the lyrics. The way she sings it is fine. It’ll grow on me. But I am fascinated.
Is There Something In The Movies?: I love this song so much. The lyrics are so interesting and kind of sad. And when she gets all powerful in the second verse. It’s really good and I love that it’s a closing track. Also, I think it’s about Brittany Murphy.
Final Ranking:
Is There Something in the Movies?
Big Wheel
Fit N Full
Waverly
Pool
Triptych
Minnesota
Limbo Bitch
Winnebago
Does Not Heal
Stellate
I didn’t have an issue with this album. There are songs I like more than others, but none of them were bad, which is fabulous. I think this would be a good album to just be playing in the background while I do schoolwork or something. I’m giving it a 8.32/10. bye
