Sucker by Charli XCX Review

Early Charli. I’m nervous. What’s it gonna be all about?

Sucker: Charli XCX has the power to make me feel so bad about myself. Like she could destroy me with one sentence. Easy.

Break the Rules: I remember my mom did not approve of this song, which is really funny. She did not like the message.

London Queen: This song is fun because she’s excited about living in the USA. and that’s where I live. But this song isn’t very good tbh.

Breaking Up: I think this is a bad song. It’s just not good. I am shocked by this.

Gold Coins: This song is fine. I think her voice sounds cool, but the song is kind of dumb.

Boom Clap: Yeah everyone knows this song. It was played a lot. Fault in Our Stars. After listening to it again in 2022, I’ve decided that it’s a legendary pop song. Like it’s so good.

Doing It (feat. Rita Ora): This was when Rita Ora kind of mattered. This chorus is kind of fabulous.

Body of My Own: I think every pop girl at some point has to sing a song about masturbating. Like it must be in their contracts. Gaga. Hailee Steinfeld. Probably other people too. Billie omg. This song is fun.

Famous: This song is actually so good. Can’t believe I’ve never heard it.

Hanging Around: I do like this bridge. She’s just talking but she’s Charli so it’s cool.

So Over You: This song is fine. I like the verses because her low voice is really good. The chorus is pretty mediocre, but I don’t hate it.

Die Tonight: This song was fun and it was very 2014.

Caught in the Middle: The verses don’t sound very good, but I do like the chorus. So now I’m at a crossroads.

Need Ur Luv: This is such a nice sound. Like it’s so summer. But summer 2014. She really captured that sound.

Red Balloon: I cannot believe this is a song recorded by Charli XCX. Like I could giggle.
