I know two songs from this album. I can’t believe it’s her only album. Miss Miranda is talented I think. I am nervous about this album because it didn’t do well commercially back in 2010, but I am hopeful. Maybe it’s a gem. Maybe it’s a keeper. Let’s get into it.
Kissin U: This song is amazing. No one disagrees. Absolutely no one. It’s one of the best songs to ever be made. And she’s a co writer??? Go Miranda.
Bam: Holy moly this song is so good. It’s so catchy. I am so happy about this song.
Disgusting: This song is fine. The chorus isn’t very good. I’m laughing at the lyrics. She’s disgusted by love and even wants to jump into traffic. Miranda that’s so funny.
Shakespeare: I get what the point of this song is. She wants to know everything about this boy. But my question is are these specific questions random, or are they personal to Miranda? Does she like Shakespeare? Jeff Buckley? I wouldn’t pin Miranda as a Buckley girl, but actually I would. This song is such a classic early 2010s song. It could totally be in a teen movie made for tv.
Hey You: This song is so sweet. Miranda really wants us to know that we’re gonna make it. I honestly think she has a good voice.
There Will Be Tears: The verses of this song are good. I really vibe to them. I’m not a fan of the chorus. It’s kind of annoying and really basic.
Oh Oh: Max Martin wrote this lol. I’m not sure what Miranda is trying to communicate to her audience with the last lines of her chorus. Is she saying that she looks so hot that she’ll get assaulted? Because that’s iconic.
Daydream: Avril Lavigne wrote this song. She’s really pulling some greats onto this album. Go Miranda. This song is bad. Sorry Avril. Also, quick question. Was Miranda really pulling all these guys? Probably.
Brand New You: This song is fine. I’m kind of vibing. The chorus is underwhelming. Also the beginning is better because she’s basically saying she found his clone. Miranda is so funny.
What Are You Waiting For: Miranda, why don’t you make the move? I’m not one to talk, but I just think she’d be bolder. I don't know why. This song is bad. Sounds like a soundtrack song for a bad movie.
Adored: Omg Miranda co wrote this song as well. We’re up to two Miranda originals. This is a bad song though. It’s boring.
Beautiful Mess: This song is sad. Miranda loves him but he doesn’t feel the same. Also, at times this doesn’t even sound like Miranda.
Charlie: The production is really cheesy. Nothing else sounded like this, where did this even come from? Greg Kurstin, I’m looking at you. I don’t mind this song. If it sounded a little less like a kid song I would like it a lot more. It just sounds a little too Barney.
Final Ranking:
Bam
Kissin U
Hey You
Shakespeare
Oh Oh
Brand New You
Charlie
Disgusting
Beautiful Mess

Not a gem or keeper. That’s okay. I still think she should put out new music. I’d like to see what she can do now. Maybe she doesn’t want to. That’s not really okay with me but it’s fine. This album gets a score of 4.12/10. It’s not very good tbh. The writing is bad. The only songs I really liked were Kissin U and Bam, which were the only two songs I already knew. It’s fine I still stan. bye
