Shawn Mendes by Shawn Mendes Review

This is a good album. I haven’t listened to it in full for a long time. Also I never listened to the deluxe version so that’s new. Let’s get into it though lol.

Senorita: This song is very catchy. I will give it that. Shawn also sounds very good. Camila on the other hand. Her voice irritates me. I can’t lie. I don’t hate this song, but it does get old.

Lost In Japan: This song is so fun. I like it a lot. It’s very relaxing and chill. But it’s also still very catchy and good.

If I Can't Have You: At first I was really into this song, but I’m kind of over it. It’s not terrible, but it’s not his best. I don’t really like the melody.

In My Blood: This song is very good. I think the lyrics are really good and so are the vocals. Also I thought he was saying “I need some Midol” which is for period cramps so that’s funny.

Fallin' All In You: The pre chorus!! So good. The chorus is also very good. This is a very pretty and sweet song. I like it a lot.

Where Were You in the Morning?: This is a pretty good song. I don’t listen to it a lot because it’s just not my most favorite, but I still appreciate it.

Nervous: Very iconic song. I am nervous a lot. It’s a really fun song and I’m glad it exists.

Like to Be You: I really like this song a lot. I think him and Julia sound really good together. And the lyrics are very good. Especially Julia’s part. I don’t like that she stole my name, but I’ll let it slide this one time.

Particular Taste: Here’s another fun song. This song builds a lot and I really like the ending.

Because I Had You: This is sad. I like the guitar in this one a lot. The melody is also very pretty. Overall it’s a good song.

Why: I will admit that I slept on this song. It’s a little longer than most songs on this album and it’s a slower pace, but it’s actually really good. I like it, I decided.

Youth: I don’t like this song. I don’t think they sound good together. And I don’t care about the lyrical content.

Perfectly Wrong: Piano. Very nice. It’s very sad sounding. It’s pretty but the lyrics sound deeper than they actually are.

Mutual: I like this song so much. It really picks up. It’s super fun and catchy and deserves more love.

Queen: This is also super catchy. I’m always singing this song. I like the lyrics a lot. It’s good.

When You're Ready: This is such a cute and pretty song. I could cry. What a good closing song. I’m a big fan.

This is the only Shawn Mendes album I’ve listened to completely, but I think it’s probably his best one. The album is very cohesive and good. It gets a 7.47/10. I liked most of the songs. bye
