how i'm feeling now by Charli XCX Album Review

Charli XCX makes me nervous. Like as a person. I don’t know a lot of her songs but I did see her live. I just think she’s intimidating. Apparently, she made this record in 39 days during quarantine, so I’m interested. Let’s get into it.

pink diamond: She just wants to go real hard and honestly she should. I like this song. It’s weird but I like it. And the outro music is fun.

forever: This song was pretty even though it sounded weird. I think I liked it a lot actually. The lyrics were sweet and a little sad. And the change up from verse to chorus was interesting. The chorus was so cute. And nice outro.

claws: This makes me want to be her friend. She’s very blunt. It makes her lyrics very relatable. And kind of cute. This song is pretty fun.

7 years: I really don’t know anything about her personal life but now I want to. I want to know what’s up. This song is cute and fun. I think the chorus is pretty good. I want less autotune.

detonate: This is a very calm song but the lyrics are depressing. I like how it sounds, but it’s not a favorite of mine. It’s a chill song and I could have it on in the background.

enemy: Good lyrics. Probably so far. I think this song is a little too plain to be a favorite, but I like certain parts of it. Especially the chorus.

i finally understand: I really like the chorus of this song. It’s super catchy and cool. Also the song is really quick, which I like. Top tier.

c2.0: I respect it but it ain’t me. Too long for the type of song it is. Only part I liked is when she shouts her name twice.

party 4 u: This song gets a point because the end of this song goes hard. I don’t care for the beginning or the middle, but the end is worth it.

anthems: This is a fun song. She wants to party, but she can’t because corona. It’s okay. I want to do that too. This sounded very Charli XCX if that makes sense.

visions: Didn’t do it for me. That’s okay. Very long outro that kind of sounds like a goose.

I think this was a fine album. It’s not very special to me and there was never a song where I was like wow this is quite the song. But I definitely liked some of them. My favorites were forever, i finally understand, and claws. It gets a score of 6.50/10, which means it’s an above-average album. bye
