This album has pretty much been a part of me since birth. It came out when I was one and a half years old. My parents were really into it, so I heard it all the time. I think it’s one of the best albums ever. I love the vibes it gives off, and it’s just really good quality. Let’s get into it.
Jenny Was a Friend of Mine: This song is amazing. Sonically, it slaps. His voice is so good. It’s good throughout the album, though. This song is such a good story. It’s definitely about him murdering his girlfriend. Fantastic. It’s so interesting because some of the lyrics are him describing the murder and some of them are him denying it to the police. I don’t think he actually killed anyone in real life, so that’s good.
Mr. Brightside: Everyone in the entire world likes this song. It’s just one of those songs. It’s truly a classic. I like this song, however, compared to other songs on this record it is pretty mediocre. Still a good song though.
Smile Like You Mean It: This is one of my favorite songs. I love the guitar in this song. It’s so cool. And it makes me super nostalgic because I would listen to this all the time when I was a toddler. It reminds me of car rides to daycare in the morning with my dad.
Somebody Told Me: This is another classic. This song is so fun. Kinda stupid. Basically, it’s about rumors. But it’s also about how hard it is to write a song. I love me a double meaning. It’s super catchy, though.
All These Things That I've Done: This is the all time classic “Julia song.” This is the first song I learned the words to. I was probably 3 or something. This song is so good. It makes me feel so happy.
Andy, You're a Star: Okay, this song is underrated. It sounds so cool, man. And it’s a super sarcastic song about this kid he went to highschool with. But also there’s theories that it’s about a gay crush. Either way, it’s really good.
On Top: The music in this song is super fun. The chorus is fun, too. It’s a good dancing song.
Change Your Mind: This song is so fun. Makes me feel like summertime. It’s so pretty.
Believe Me Natalie: Long song. I am less familiar with these next three songs, so here we go. I don’t mind this song. It’s just a little boring. I wouldn’t mind it if it came on.
Midnight Show: I think this song is also about the same murder mentioned earlier. I think it takes place before. And it seems that he threw her body in the ocean. What a good song.
Everything Will Be Alright: If you’re reaching the end of your cry session this song would be a good fit. It takes a second to understand this song, I think. At least for me it did. But I’m really vibing.
Final Ranking:

Believe Me Natalie
This is one of those albums that really doesn’t have any skips. I’m not the biggest fan of Believe Me Natalie, but it’s not terrible. Every other song is amazing. It gets a 9.41/10 because it’s really that iconic. bye
