Ghost EP by Sky Ferreira Review

I know this is good.

Sad Dream: I think this is one of the most beautiful songs ever made and it’s definitely in my top favorite songs of all time. It makes me so sad. It’s about her bad relationship with her dad, but you can really apply it to any relationship. Her voice is so pretty. The guitar is so pretty. Everything is so pretty. Makes me want to sob. This song is crucial. One time I played this in the car and my dad criticized it. Very out of character because usually he has good taste.

Lost in My Bedroom: This song is so 2012. But like tumblr. You had to be there. I wasn’t. But then I was. This song is really fabulous. I love everything about it. It’s just a song. But it’s more. It’s a moment. Sky knew what she was doing. Such a switch up from the last track, but I love it. She only has five songs on this EP, she needs to make the most of it.

Ghost: Like how does she go from Lost in My Bedroom, to this sad country sounding song. It’s not country. It is just acoustic. At first I wasn’t really into this song because it’s a bit slow, but then I decided that it’s really really fabulous. “Lately I’m in between being steady or a headcase.” I think that’s a great line. Her voice is so beautiful. She can do anything.

Red Lips: Then she jumps into this song. It’s fun and quick. The music video is super important. There’s a spider. Pre-Billie. This song is really important and my mom said she liked it when I played it in the car. That’s important to know. This song is the Sky I’m used to. But she can do anything, don't forget it.

Everything Is Embarrassing: This song is on every list. Everyone agrees. It’s good. It’s really important too. Apparently it changed music. I didn't know I was 9 when it happened. But this song is really good. And it’s different. I really like how she changes key or something on the last chorus. This song has grown on me over the years. It’s a classic.
