Fix Yourself, Not the World by The Wombats Review

I feel like I’ll like them. Yup.

Flip Me Upside Down: I like the idea of this chorus, but it just doesn’t hit right. They missed the mark. It’s not horrible, but I wish I was more into it than I am.

This Car Drives All by Itself: I do not like the chorus. It’s not my style.

If You Ever Leave, I’m Coming with You: It’s a little creepy, but also sweet. It’s a fine line and I’m not fully settled on a take yet. Sonically, it’s cool. It’s also the perfect length.

Ready for the High: This song is pretty fun. It’s catchy. I like the chorus.

Method to the Madness: The ending of this song is pretty great. I love how it builds. Otherwise, I think this song is a little fake deep. I could be just being rude though. It happens.

People Don’t Change People, Time Does: This was pretty fun. I liked it. Easy listen.

Everything I Love Is Going to Die: I like that Icarus was his best friend. This song is pretty nice. The chorus is fun. It’s a little bit depressing but that’s hidden by how happy it sounds, so it’s okay.

Work Is Easy, Life Is Hard: This sounds like other songs. It was good, nothing crazy good. Just good.

Wildfire: This song is actually really good. I love the chorus. Voice sounds great there. This song is hot and sexy. Very summer. I’m totally into it and thankful.

Don’t Poke the Bear: I think the chorus is dumb. It’s not hitting. I like how this song sounds kinda. It’s nothing new, but it’s good.

Worry: I honestly don’t worry about things so I can’t relate. I’ve never been worried. This song is kinda good though. I like the chorus. It’s fun.

Fix Yourself, Then the World (Reach Beyond Your Fingers): This was short and sweet.
