Feeling Strangely Fine by Semisonic Review

I’m hoping I like this. My dad did, I think.

Closing Time: This song is just classic. It’s fine. Nothing wrong with it.

Singing in My Sleep: I’ve totally heard this song before. It’s so familiar. Maybe my dad played it a lot. Anyway, I really like it. It’s a good song. The chorus is really catchy.

Made to Last: This one is nice. It kind of sounds like the ending, not the third track, but who am I to judge. I’m enjoying this song and his voice.

Never You Mind: I’ve totally heard this song too. I love the piano in this song. It’s really fun and catchy. It’s totally a song that could be in Shrek.

Secret Smile: I definitely remember this song. My dad played it all the time. It’s very good. A little repetitive, but I think it’s really nice.

DND: Took me the whole song to understand what DND stood for. This song was nice. It wasn’t very exciting, but it worked as a nice break. I was into it.

Completely Pleased: Uhhh. Not even subtle. It’s nice of him honestly.

This Will be My Year: I liked the instrumentals but I really wasn’t into the rest. Lyrics didn’t make me feel anything and the vocals weren’t spectacular. It’s getting extra points for the outro. I like it.

All Worked Out: Good one! I really liked the lyrics and the ending.

California: This sounds like a song to play in the car. Very summer.

She Spreads Her Wings: This was pretty. A little boring, but that’s okay. I’m forgiving.

Gone to the Movies: This song is so pretty and it makes me sad. I forgot it existed until I listened to my dad’s playlist.

This album ended up being pretty good. I’m almost certain my dad played this a lot when I was younger because a lot of tracks sounded pretty familiar. It gets a 7.67/10. bye
