Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You by Big Thief Review

I’ve only heard one song off of this, but I liked it.

Change: This is sad but really beautiful. Her voice is unmatched, and it really suits this genre of music.

Time Escaping: This song is weird. It’s kinda fun, but it’s a weird sound.

Spud Infinity: Wow this sounds so country. It’s jarring. I feel like I should be in a field harvesting corn. The music in this song is very pretty. But this song is pretty long and I don’t know how much more of it I can take.

Certainty: The lyrics are so descriptive. She’s fantastic.

Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You: This song is so pretty. It sounds like a dream. I like it a lot, even though it’s not the most interesting.

Sparrow: This song is a little slow and long. I liked when her voice got higher during those parts. It’s pretty, it’s just a little boring.

Little Things: Guitar is very pretty on this track.

Heavy Bend: This was very short and it just kinda happened. I don’t mind it.

Flower of Blood: This was a little weird. I didn’t hate it, but I did have a hard time paying attention. It’s a good background song.

Blurred View: This one is odd. I won’t lie to you guys. It’s not really folk music. It pretty much sounds the same the whole time. I don’t hate it, but it’s not something I would choose to listen to a lot.

Red Moon: This definitely sounds country, but it’s really nice. It’s giving harvest. I love her voice. It sounds so nice. And happy.

Dried Roses: It sounds a little bit Lumineers. It’s really beautiful. Type of song to make you smile but also wanna cry. Crisis song.

No Reason: This was a good time, but it wasn’t my most favorite.

Wake Me up to Drive: This was cute. It makes me feel like I’m in the car.

Promise Is a Pendulum: This song was very pretty. It was simple, and I liked the lyrics. It was like a lullaby. Kinda.

12,000 Lines: It was calm and pretty. It was like I’m laying down in a field.

Simulation Swarm: I like this song a lot. It gets stuck in my head. It’s catchy and pretty and calm. Very spring.

Love Love Love: Guitar is great. I really like the sound of this song. It’s cool, kinda weird. It’s all jumbled up but I like it. It works.

The Only Place: This was sweet. Not a stand out song on the album, but it was nice.

Blue Lightning: This is so cute. Her voice is just really unique, but it’s so pretty. I think it sounds good with this folk music.
