This will be the first Lady Gaga album I listen to fully. Start to finish. I know her singles, obviously. I really like Stupid Love. I have not listened to Rain On Me yet. I am excited I think. I don’t know. Let’s get into it.
Chromatica I: A very dramatic instrumental. Very cinematic. Sounds like a scene where they are saving the sinking ship or something. Idk. It’s pretty.
Alice: Wow the transition!! This was a cool song. A good dancing song. Dancing in the club perhaps. Lyrics were pretty straight forward and also not the most interesting thing I’ve ever heard. Alice in Wonderland is referenced a lot and she didn’t do anything very interesting with the story.
Stupid Love: I love this song. Partially because of the music video. I think her pink hair is so fun. And she’s dancing so much. It’s just a really good time. Good song.
Rain On Me: This song is very good. They sound really good together. Because Ariana has the angelic, but still powerful voice, and miss Gaga has her powerful voice that’s pretty in a different way. I like Gaga’s speaking parts a lot. It’s a fun song.
Free Woman: This song gets better as you go on. I think it’s a little boring, but the lyrics are fun and you can dance to it for sure.
Fun Tonight: Break up song!! I love the chorus. It’s so catchy. I really like this song.
Chromatica II: Here we have another instrumental. This one is much more dramatic. Could be from a period piece. Not sad, but not a save the day moment. More like someone walking quickly through a castle hall.
911: They were not kidding about this transition. I’m gonna have to play it again omg. I’m really feeling this song. I like how it is. If that makes sense. It’s pretty catchy, man. And simple, but it works for it.
Plastic Doll: Not the most original concept. Barbie Girl vibes but she’s protesting somewhat. The chorus is fine. She sounds good. I love the bridge and the outro. Those parts really did it for me.
Sour Candy: I have never heard a kpop song in my life, this will be the first time. I am so nervous. Let’s go. Wow okay this song went hard. BLACKPINK sounded good. Maybe I’ll listen to them. No. Gaga sounded great in this. I love when she speaks in her songs. It’s so cool.
Enigma: This had a good beat. I thought her voice was very pretty during certain parts of the song. I think the chorus is a little boring, but not bad.
Replay: This song grew on me very quickly! It’s very catchy and fun. The ending is really good. It gets all exciting. I think this will grow on me even more.
Chromatica III: Here we have another instrumental. I hope it has a cool transition into the next song. It’s pretty short. Still sounds like someone is on a mission but they are dressed nice.
Sine From Above: Did not have a cool transition :(. I did not like this song. It gave me bad vibes. Sounded like songs I hated in 2016. The dance track seemed very generic and Elton John. bruh. Why? No disrespect but that was not the track for him. I didn’t care about the lyrics either. Just not for me.
1000 Doves: Okay. This is when life gets hard. I really dislike the chorus. I think it’s so lame and I think songs with this message are so boring. The songs where it’s like “lift me up and help me fly” and metaphors about your broken wings. I just am not a fan. And the dance track on the chorus was lame too. However, I really liked the verses and the bridge. She sounded real good on those.
Babylon: This might be the best song I’ve ever heard in my life. It was such a classic Gaga song. You know I love it when she talks in her songs. And her saying “gossip” was everything I ever needed in life. This song is so powerful. And the saxophone. Idk maybe it was not a saxophone but I liked it so much.
Final Ranking:

I am so happy with this album. I'm so glad she went straight for pop. I think it's what she does best. She really nailed it. Happy for her. This gets a score of 7.09/10. The only song I didn't like at all was Sine From Above. I just hated that. Babylon and 911 are my favorites I think. bye
