Breakout by Miley Cyrus Review

This album is iconic. Miley really did something here I think. I actually haven’t listened to this full thing in years, but I remember thinking it’s great. So hopefully I’m right. Let’s get into it.

Breakout: This song is so cheesy. Also I am realizing that this song has been stuck in my head for approximately 12 years. I just never realized that this was the song that was constantly playing in the back corner of my brain. I don’t even think it’s good. It’s pretty lame and childish. Points for being so very catchy.

7 Things: This song is iconic. It was on the Disney Sing It Wii game. It’s super catchy. To be completely honest, it was never my favorite, but I respect it. I am also always singing this song. What is up with me?

The Driveway: Ok. Me and my mom are obsessed with this song and have been since 2008. This is an actually amazing song. The quality is there.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun: This is an amazing cover. Of course it doesn’t top the original, but I wouldn’t skip this version. Ever. Miley ate this.

Full Circle: I was always a Full Circle girl. I swear, the non singles off of this album go hard. This song is just so good.

Fly On the Wall: WOw. This song made me feel like a baddie back in the day. Another karaoke song for me. It still goes hard.

Bottom of the Ocean: Here comes a deep cut. Her voice sounds really good on this track I’ve decided. It’s a little boring, though.

Wake Up America: Environmental queen. Woke queen. 2008 wasn’t ready for this song. I still sing this song at random times. I didn’t even know what global warming was in 2008. I thought it was a company. I was not able to comprehend this song at all. That’s funny.

These Four Walls: This is one of my favorite songs of all time. It’s so good. I don’t think this album deserves it. This is top tier Miley. Her voice is incredible on this track. The lyrics are serious. Fantastic. She killed this.

Simple Song: This song is so dramatic. I used to pretend to be in a movie to this song. I really like the format of this song. It’s interesting. The piano is very pretty too.

Goodbye: I don’t know if I ever listened to this song. It’s not that good. It’s kind of sad actually. Her voice sounds nice. Not for me.

I had this CD. I would play it all the time. I think that’s why all of these songs are on constant repeat in the back corner of my brain. Sometimes I will just sing a lyric and not even know where it came from. Now I know. It was from Miley Cyrus’s hit 2008 LP, “Breakout.” This album gets a score of 7.55/10. It’s pretty good. It held up. Nostalgia might’ve taken the wheel a few times, but I stand by this final score. These Four Walls is it. So is The Driveway and Full Circle. bye
