2WAYMIRROR by Gabbie Hanna Album Review

I want to go into this without any bias. I know Gabbie’s a meme and I really don’t like her as a person, but I will give her music a listen. I won’t say it’s bad just because it’s trendy. If I like it I’ll be honest. And if I say it’s bad it’s because I truly think it’s bad. Let’s get into it.

She Wrote It About You?: This was a quick intro. Fades right into the next song.

Broken Girls: The production on this track is actually pretty good. I don’t think her voice is that bad. The song is catchy enough. I don’t hate it. It’s not too cringey, but it’s riding the line.

Broken Boys: I get it. It’s fine. I am intrigued by the spoken words part. What is her intention? I am not in on Gabbie drama.

Butterflies: This song is not that good. Her voice is just not her strong suit. The writing is pretty basic, but I was interested. Parts of this song were catchy, but not impressive.

It's Not Okay What I Did: A little voicemail action. Not for me.

Perfect Day (A True Story): Wow. Very dramatic. I was like what’s gonna happen next. It’s not a good song. The writing is cheesy, although I was captivated. I did not like the production. The choices made don’t match the choices I would have made.

This Isn't Fun For Me: Gabbie is sad.

Pillowcase: I could not follow this song's story. Couldn’t do it. I didn’t think this song was horrible. I don’t really like parts of it.

Exhausted: She is exhausted.

Medicate: This lowkey slapped. Good job, Gabbie. I liked it. It was simple, but kind of cool.

Chances: She went off.

Goodbye, For Now: I like the chorus of this song. I don’t like her voice on the verses. She sounds bad. The production was cool.

I'm Sorry: The phone buzz scared me.

I just don’t think Gabbie has a good singing voice. That is unfortunate for her. And her songwriting skills are weak. They’re a little cringey. A little tumblr. The production on this album was good, but that alone cannot save an album. This album gets a 3.08/10. I liked that it was only 20 minutes long.
